1st Engineering CCP Conference
The first Engineering Collaborative Computational Projects (CCP) Conference will bring together researchers, software developers, industry engineers and members of computational engineering communities from across the UK.
The conference provides a cross-disciplinary forum for communities including CCP-NTH, CCP-WSI, CCP-QC, CCP-Turbulence and related projects to showcase recent advances, exchange best practice, discuss shared software and modelling challenges, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
Topics will span computational engineering and applied computational science, including:
- nuclear thermal hydraulics and safety-relevant computational modelling;
- fluid dynamics, turbulence, multiphase flow and heat transfer;
- multiphysics and multiscale modelling;
- high-performance computing and software optimisation;
- verification, validation and uncertainty quantification;
- reduced-order modelling and AI/ML-enabled simulation; and
- community software, benchmark studies and reproducible workflows.
The two-day, in-person conference will feature research presentations, poster sessions, community discussions and networking opportunities. PhD students and Early Career Researchers are particularly encouraged to attend and contribute, while the event is open to everyone interested in computational engineering.
